The LEPAS Optical Beam Measurement System is a modular system for detection, measurement and analysis of passive and active optical light sources such as fiber optics or lasers and LEDs. It is configurable from three main components such as Frame Grabber Board and Software, specialized optics for Far Field measurements such as field angle distributions and NA measurements, Near Field measurements for structural analysis of fiber geometry parameters and selectable CCD- or Vidicon cameras suitable for fast measurements at operating wavelengths between 110nm and 2000nm. Due to the modular concept and the variety of the software the system is matching the demands of industrial environments such as production control and quality assurance as well as those of scientific and R&D applications. Typical users are manufacturere of lasers, LEDs, fibers or fiber components.
