For the Oxygenation Monitoring of human or animal tissue we provide various monitoring devices. Using Near-infrared Absorption Spectroscopy one can get the chromophore density changes of oxy-, deoxy- and total hemoglobin as well as absolute values of the oxygenation of Hb in the vessel system (in %) and its total volume. As those monitors provide a rather detailed description about the hemodynamic situation they mainly are used for the monitoring of cerebral oxygenation but also can be used for muscle oxygenation. In many clinical studies our monitors have been used successfully, such as:
- neonatal ICU
- during heart, carotis, and thorax surgery
- ICU of neurology and neurosurgery
- for physiological studies
- for cognitive and brain stimulation studies and many more.
