Light Sources

LEDs These LEDs have emission wavelengths in the red (660-940 nm) or infrared (1300-1650 nm).

Detectors (UV-Visible-NIR Sensitivity)

InGaAs PIN photodiodes (for 0.5-2.6 µm) This detector type typically has sensitivity within 0.5–2.6 µm. Various spectral response ranges, active areas, arrays, and packages are available.
PbS photoconductive detectors (for 1-3.2 µm) PbS photoconductive detectors are sensitive to 1–3.2 µm wavelengths. PbSe photoconductive detectors are sensitive to 1.5–5.2 µm.

Image Sensors

InGaAs image sensors These image sensors have a spectral response range within 900 nm to 2550 nm. They feature a built-in CMOS IC readout circuit that allows easy signal processing.
