High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)

Light Sources

  Deuterium lamps These lamps emit a broad spectrum in the UV region and are characterized by excellent stability, long life, and high brightness.
  Xenon flash lamps These pulsed light sources emit a broad spectrum from UV to IR. Other features include compact size, high output intensity, and low thermal effects.
  Xenon lamps These lamps emit a broad spectrum from UV to IR, and feature high output intensity, high stability, and long life.
 

Detectors (for Single-Wavelength Measurements)

 

Photomultiplier tubes (PMT)

These detectors have extremely high sensitivity to very low light levels. They feature high gain, which is virtually noise-free, and ultrafast response. Various sizes and configurations are available.
  Photomultiplier tube (PMT) modules These modules consist of a PMT, high voltage power supply, and signal processing electronics.
  Silicon photodiodes These compact and lightweight detectors have excellent sensitivity, low dark current, and excellent linearity. Various sizes and packages (metal, ceramic, plastic, etc.) are available.
  Silicon photodiode modules These modules consist of a silicon photodiode and current-to-voltage amplifier.
       
 

Image Sensors (For Multichannel or Multiwavelength Measurements)

NMOS image sensors These image sensors are suitable for detecting moderate to high light levels. They feature large active areas, high UV sensitivity, and wide dynamic range.
